An encounter of an abandoned tea garden - no longer in production or attended to. Locals from the area would occasionally make a visit from time to time in the Spring to collect fresh harvest leaves to make black tea for personal drinking.
This is black tea is crafted from the Cloud & Mist varietal.
Infused cuppings brings forth initial notes of fresh pine needles and peach-skin or stone fruit rinds, descending into a sustained light minty sweetness.
Brewing Recommendations:
4 - 5 grams in 150 ml vessel. Infused tea leaves with 208 F temperature water for 20 - 30 seconds. Add additional 10 - 20 second to each subsequent brew. Yields around 4 flavorful brews.
*Increase temperature and serving size/grams while keeping brewing times short to intensify brew. For longer brewing times, use less leaves.
