Alishan Taiwan High Mountain Oolong
A lightly oxidized and light roasted oolong from Taiwan's Alishan Mountain. Cultivated and harvested from a garden at 1600 meters above sea level. This is a great introduction to Taiwan's high mountain/elevation oolongs.
Verdant, floral, creamy, sweet, and a lasting finish.
Brewing reccomendation:
Weigh out 4 - 5 grams (tablespoon) and brew in a vessel/ teapot of 150 - 180 ml of water at 195 - 200 F temperature for 1 minute. Add 30 seconds to each subsequent steeping. Adjust dosage, duration of brewing time, or temperature to one's preference to explore flavor characteristics.

Just the right amount of roasting. I've had some Oolong that tasted more like charcoal than tea, but this is just perfect. Sweet, roasted barley, beautiful aroma. Lovely. It's in the running for one of my favorite oolongs.
