True Cliff Shui Xian 2023

A high roast (not the super dark kind) Shui Xian from the Central region 坑间, a true Zheng Yan, which has mellowed into a very soft and subtle tea. 

Notes of sandalwood and frankincense. Thick, smooth, cloudy texture with deep notes of minerals. Heavier than it looks and more comforting steep after steep.

Use 6-8 grams to steep in 100-140ml tea vessel. Douse at 210-212F boiling water. Quickly decant all liquid within a few seconds of flash brewing.
