A honey fragrance black tea from a high elevation garden from the mountains of Nantou County, Taiwan.
Crafted from early spring harvested leaves then withered and oxidized to bring out the sugary, cinnamon, spice, and honey fragrance. When brewed there is a very slight gelatinous finish to the tea - a result of the tea grown at a high elevations in Taiwan.
*Apple pie crust comes to mind when the dry leaves lands on the preheated porcelain pot and the steam carries forth the aromatics.

Fantastic Tea!
Really hits the honey notes would recommend to anyone.
As the title suggests this is one of the most distinct tasting black teas I've tried. It lives up to the honey fragrance name and it straight up tastes like palm sugar. I think it's difficult for me to drink this tea every single day. I would still choose a nuttier and less sweet tasting tea like the Hometown Black but if you like sweeter teas I would try this one out. It's the benchmark for a "sweet" smelling and tasting tea for me now.
