Huang Guan Yin 黄观音 "Yellow Goddess" is cultivar resulting from hybridization of two Anxi region varietals, Tie Guan Yin 铁观音 "Iron Goddess of Mercy" and Huang Jin Gui 黄金桂 "Golden Yellow Osmanthus". This category of oolong cultivars are know for their floral aromatics when crafted in lighter style of oxidation.
This is a Zheng Yan Huang Guan Yin cultivar harvested from within the reserve. Crafted in a darker roast style, instead of being high perfumy florals, the trade off resulted in a more slightly creaminess with hints of ripe fruit.
But don't take it by mistake, as this is still a mid-zuhuo roast - meaning it can brew dark and thick. A little can go a long way. It definitely has yanyun - the more straightforward kind given it is grown on a cliff and receives more sunlight. The more accurate tasting description I would point to would be the flavor profile is very similar to a dark roast tie guan yin with a slight tang. Since it's a Yancha, it'll be more yanyun and less in tang.
